To compile the list, The Business Journal surveyed women-owned business throughout the Twin Cities, asking for most recent fiscal year revenue. Business owners needed to be women who own 50 percent or more of their companies, and the companies must be based in the Twin Cities 24-county metro area in order to qualify.
