Forbes’ annual ranking identifies 225 leading temporary staffing firms across the United States that excel in connecting organizations with contingent and contract talent. The 2026 list was developed in collaboration with Statista, drawing from survey responses collected between November 2025 and January 2026 from approximately 13,800 professionals, including recruiters, human resources leaders, hiring managers, and recent job candidates with firsthand experience working with staffing firms. Responses from the prior year were also considered with reduced weighting

Firms are not contacted until after the awards are determined, maintaining the integrity of the process.
