Our company works with candidates of all skill levels to offer them employment opportunities that fit their talents and earning needs. At Doherty, our people power these essential relationships and act as the connecting element between companies and candidates, fueling our economy and our purpose in this world.
Over the last 40+ years, our company has appreciated the opportunity to connect hundreds of thousands of people with hundreds of companies seeking talent in thousands of communities across the United States. However, with the many additional challenges brought forth the past several years, our mission seemed even more essential, and we wanted to find a way to make an even bigger impact on those most in need.
That’s why our company joined with the Doherty Family Foundation to work with the many groups of people who made the most impact on our business in 2022 to coordinate large monetary donations to the following five charities: Loaves & Fishes, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Gary Sinise Foundation, the Animal Humane Society, and Simpson Housing Services. We’re delighted to share that we not only completed these donations just in time for the holidays, but we also increased our total donation amount by an additional 150% this year.
This year, our partnership included a special video message from Minnesota’s very own iHeart Radio personality, Paul Allen, detailing the importance of helping us choose how to give back to those most in need in our local communities.
The tremendous feedback we received from this initiative was truly heartwarming. We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of positive comments from those who helped us determine our donation allocation amounts and the individuals at each charity who received the donation.
