With fall and the back-to-school season in full swing, Doherty Staffing Solutions and our sister company, Dahl Consulting, recently partnered to help support children and families facing the financial strain of purchasing new school supplies.
Throughout the entire month of August, our corporate office and local branch offices hosted a school supplies drive to benefit the Kids In Need Foundation, a national nonprofit organization focused on supporting the nation’s most under-resourced schools. Our dedicated employees took up the call to action and collected an impressive array of supplies. Among these were over 850 notebooks, pencils, markers, glue sticks, erasers, and much more, all carefully chosen to cater to the most requested items by both students and teachers.
The Kids In Need Foundation collects donations and distributes school supplies to teachers and students in need in a variety of ways. One of the local distribution centers, located in Roseville, Minnesota, allows teachers to shop for the supplies they need within their classroom to support students at no cost to them.
In the spirit of unity and giving back, Doherty Staffing Solutions and Dahl Consulting extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this initiative. Together, we’re making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most—our children, our teachers, and our communities.
